Directing Comedy and Movies
Leslie Small started his career in 1998. His first job was making a commercial for Master P's No Limit Films.
Early Directing Projects
While working with comedian Mo'Nique on her one-woman show, Mo'Nique: One Night Stand (2005), Leslie Small also talked about making a comedy movie about hair salons. This idea became his first movie as a director, Hair Show (2004).
