Levon Maxwell Simon Kendall, born on July 4, 1984, is a former professional basketball player from Canada. He played as a power forward and also as a center. Levon is quite tall, standing at 2.09 meters (about 6 feet 10 inches). His father is Simon Kendall, a well-known Canadian rock musician and composer.

High School Basketball Achievements

Levon Kendall played for the Kitsilano Blue Demons, his high school team. He helped lead his team to win three provincial championships in a row. His coach during this time was Simon Dykstra. Levon was recognized for his excellent play and was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) twice. He played a key role in these victories alongside another talented player, Chris Burton.

College Basketball Journey

After high school, Levon Kendall continued his basketball career in college. He played for the University of Pittsburgh's men's basketball team. This team is known as the Pittsburgh Panthers. Playing college basketball helped him develop his skills even further.

Professional Basketball Career

Levon Kendall started his professional basketball career in 2007. He joined a team called Panionios in the Greek League. In 2009, he moved to another Greek team, Maroussi.

A year later, in 2010, Levon moved to Spain to play in the ACB League. He joined the team Obradoiro CAB. In August 2013, he signed with a German team called Alba Berlin.

In 2019, Levon Kendall returned to Canada. He signed with the Fraser Valley Bandits. This team is part of the Canadian Elite Basketball League. He played with the Bandits again in 2021, which was his final season as a professional player.

Playing for the National Team

Levon Kendall was also a member of the Canadian national basketball team. This means he represented his country in international basketball competitions. He played for Canada in the 2008 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament. He also competed in the 2010 FIBA World Championship.
