Lewis Kelly grew up in Lithonia, Georgia. He went to Henderson High School. After high school, he attended South Carolina State University. He played college football for the South Carolina State Bulldogs from 1995 to 1999.
Professional Football Career
Lewis Kelly was chosen by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2000 NFL Draft. He was picked in the seventh round. This means he was the 248th player chosen overall.
He played for the Vikings from 2000 to 2003. During this time, he also played for the Frankfurt Galaxy in NFL Europe in 2002. NFL Europe was a league that helped players develop their skills.
