Lewisville is a small, unincorporated community. It is located in the northeast part of Harrison Township. This area is in Owen County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.
Lewisville is found near the meeting point of County Road 700 East and West Lewisville Road. It is about twenty miles northeast of Spencer. Spencer is the county seat for Owen County. This community also sits right on the border between Owen County and Morgan County.

The community of Lewisville was named to honor some of the first families who settled there. These early settlers played a big part in the area's beginnings. Lewisville was officially established in 1859.
