Christopher Lynn Moore (born January 11, 1993) is an American rapper from Dallas, Texas, who is better known by his stage name, Lil Twist. A stage name is a special name an artist uses for their performances. In 2010, he joined Lil Wayne's record label, Young Money, which is part of Republic.

Music Career

Getting Started

Lil Twist grew up in Dallas, Texas. He focused on his music career from a young age. When he was only 12, he had a big opportunity. He performed as the opening act for the famous rapper Lil Wayne at a concert in Texas.

Lil Wayne was very impressed with his talent. He invited Lil Twist to Atlanta to record in a professional studio. This was the start of his journey in the music industry.

Early Success

Even before meeting Lil Wayne, Lil Twist was making music. At just 10 years old, he released his first single called "The Texas Twist." The song was a huge hit in his hometown of Dallas. It stayed at the number one spot on local music charts for six weeks in a row.

To build his fanbase, he released several mixtapes. A mixtape is a collection of songs, similar to an album, that artists often release for free. One of his popular mixtapes was called The Golden Child.

In 2011, the hip-hop magazine XXL featured him in its "Freshman Class." This is a special list that highlights the most promising new rappers of the year.

Working with Other Artists

Lil Twist has worked with many famous musicians. He has been a guest artist on songs with Justin Bieber, 2 Chainz, and Miley Cyrus. He also teamed up with the singer Khalil for a 2012 mixtape called 3 Weeks in Miami.

Besides music, Lil Twist has also tried acting. He was the voice of a character named Brandon Bubbler on the Disney Channel animated show Fish Hooks.
