Lili Estefan was born on March 20, 1967, in Santiago de Cuba, a city in Cuba. Her father is José Estefan. When Lili was ten years old, her mother passed away. After this, Lili moved to the United States with her father and younger brother, Juan Emilio.
Lili is related to famous music producer Emilio Estefan. His wife is the well-known singer Gloria Estefan. This makes Gloria Estefan Lili's aunt.
Lili Estefan's TV Career
Starting on Sábado Gigante
Lili Estefan first became famous in 1986. She was hired by Univision to be a model on the TV show Sábado Gigante. She quickly became a favorite of the audience. The show's host, Don Francisco, also liked her a lot. Lili appeared on Don Francisco's other show, Don Francisco Presenta, many times.
Co-hosting El Gordo y la Flaca
Since 1998, Lili Estefan has been a co-host of Univision's daytime talk show El Gordo y la Flaca. She hosts the show with Raúl De Molina. Lili got her nickname "La Flaca" ("The Skinny Girl") from this show.
Judging on Mira Quien Baila
Lili Estefan is also one of the judges on the show Mira Quien Baila. She judges alongside Horacio Villalobos and Bianca Marroquín.
Red Table Talk: The Estefans
In 2020, Lili Estefan started co-hosting a new show called Red Table Talk: The Estefans. This show is a spin-off of the Facebook Watch talk show Red Table Talk. On this show, she hosts with her aunt Gloria Estefan and her cousin Emily.

Lili Estefan has received many awards for her work in television. In 2015, she got the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 33rd Annual Premios TVyNovelas. This award was given by Televisa.
In 2016, Lili Estefan and her El Gordo y La Flaca co-host, Raúl De Molina, were honored. They received the award for Outstanding Achievement in Hispanic Television. This was at the 14th Annual Hispanic Television Summit.
In 2017, Lili Estefan received the Career Award at the Premio Lo Nuestro Awards. This award was presented by Univision. In 2018, she won a Daytime Talent in Spanish Emmy Award. This Emmy was given by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Lili Estefan's Family Life
Lili Estefan married Cuban businessman Lorenzo Luaces in 1992. They have two children together. Their son, Lorenzo Luaces Jr., was born in 1999. Their daughter, Lina Teresa Luaces, was born in 2002.
