Lilith in Ancient Stories
Stories about Lilith can be found in very old texts, like the Dead Sea Scrolls. These ancient writings mention a word similar to Lilith, suggesting beliefs about night spirits were common long ago. In ancient Mesopotamia, people believed in different kinds of spirits, and some of these might have influenced the later stories about Lilith.
