Lillian was born in Oak Hill, Alabama. When she was five years old, her family moved to Buffalo, New York. She went to Kent State University and was even named "actress of the year" while she was there! Later, she earned a degree in theater from California State University, Northridge.

Lillian Lehman has played many different characters on television. She was Nurse Carol Williams on the show Emergency! and Letty Gilmore on Fay. She also played Lena Hart in the soap opera Sunset Beach.
