Early Life and Dance Beginnings
Lilliana Ketchman was born on June 23, 2008. Her parents are Stacey and Christopher Ketchman. She also has an older brother named Caden. Her mom is a psychologist and a dancer. Her dad plays the piano and is also a psychologist.
Lilliana's family is from Fayetteville, North Carolina. She started dancing when she was just two years old. By age four, she was already competing in dance contests. She trained at the Campaneria Ballet School.

Becoming a YouTube Star

Dancing on Dance Moms
Lilliana's journey to Dance Moms began in 2015. Someone suggested she should try out for the show. At first, her mom was unsure because of Abby Lee Miller's reputation. But then, Abby Lee Miller started following Lilliana on social media. She asked Lilliana to send videos of her dancing.
Lilliana joined Dance Moms in season six. She was only seven years old. She became part of the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) mini team. Her very first solo dance on the show was called "Step by Step." She won first place with it!
In 2017, Lilliana moved up to the ALDC Elite team. She continued to show her talent. She won first place in the junior division at a national competition. During season seven, she also won first place in a competition in Spokane, Washington.
Lilliana was the only team member to return for season eight. She won the overall competition in week 14 with her solo "Black Widow." Later, she performed a solo called "Straight Up." She danced the whole routine in a straitjacket! She earned a perfect score of 300 and finished first. At the national competition, she placed second in the junior division. She was fourth overall with her solo "Inside Out."
Music Video Appearances
Besides dancing on TV, Lilliana has also appeared in many music videos. She has worked with famous artists. These include Bianca Ryan, Sia, and even fellow Dance Moms dancer JoJo Siwa.
In Sia's music video for "Move Your Body", Lilliana played a young Sia. People loved her performance. Slate magazine said her dance moves made the video "so much fun to watch." In November 2020, Lilliana and her mom hinted at her own song. It was called "Underneath," and it also had a music video.
