History of Lilly
The Lilly Bridge is an important landmark in Lilly. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. This means it's a special place recognized for its historical importance.
Geography and Location
Lilly is found in the eastern part of Cambria County. It sits in a valley near where the Little Conemaugh River begins. Pennsylvania Route 53 runs through the town. This road goes north about 2 miles (3.2 km) to U.S. Route 22 near Cresson.
According to the United States Census Bureau, Lilly covers a total area of about 0.52 square miles (1.3 square kilometers). All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water.

Sewer System
Lilly has a special system for treating wastewater, managed by the Central Mainline Sewer Authority. This system helps keep the town clean and healthy.
A special event was held on August 21, 2006, to celebrate the sewer system. A local politician, John Murtha, was there. The whole system cost $10 million to build and took 14 years to finish. The Central Mainline Sewer Authority serves over 2,000 homes and businesses.
