Lincoln is a special kind of community called a census-designated place (CDP). It's the main part of the town of Lincoln in Penobscot County, Maine, United States. In 2010, about 2,884 people lived there.

Lincoln is located in the state of Maine. It covers a total area of about 21.2 square kilometers (or 8.2 square miles). Most of this area, about 19.2 square kilometers (7.4 square miles), is land. The rest, about 2.0 square kilometers (0.78 square miles), is water. This means that nearly 10% of Lincoln's area is covered by water.

Notable Person from Lincoln
- Master Sergeant Gary Gordon was a very brave soldier. He received the Medal of Honor, which is the highest military award in the United States. He was killed in action during the Battle of Mogadishu in 1993.
