The Lingue River (in Spanish, Río Lingue) is a river located in southern Chile. It flows through the area known as Mariquina. This river starts in the Valdivian Coast Range. It then flows west until it reaches the Pacific Ocean. The Lingue River empties into the ocean near the town of Mehuín.
Where the Lingue River Flows
The Lingue River is part of a larger system of rivers. To its north, the river's area connects with the basin of the Queule River. A river basin is the land area that drains water into a river. To its south, the Lingue River's area connects with the Valdivia River basin. This means that rain and water from these areas eventually flow into the Lingue, Queule, or Valdivia rivers.
