Early Life and Music Beginnings
Linzi Stoppard began playing the violin when she was just four years old. She grew up in Surrey, England. She learned using a special teaching method called the Suzuki method. This method helps young children learn music in a natural way.
When she was eighteen, Linzi signed her first contract as a model. Even while modeling, she continued to teach violin and play for recording sessions.
Musical Journey and Bands
At nineteen, Linzi was discovered by music producers Oliver Adams and Praga Khan. This led to her becoming the lead musician for an American heavy metal band called Tattoo of Pain.
Later, Linzi formed a music duo called Babe Instinct. For this group, she was the singer. After that, she returned to playing the electric violin and gave many performances.
In 2007, Linzi joined another violinist named Ben Lee. Together, they formed a heavy-metal duo called 'FUSE'. FUSE has performed at many big events. These include the C Music TV launch event in 2008 and the British Red Cross Gala Ball in 2009.
In 2009, FUSE signed a record deal with Edel AG Records. They released their first album, "FUSE," in 2010. This album included their own version of the popular song "Fix You" by Coldplay.
Linzi and Ben from FUSE also enjoy teaching. They were interviewed by the "European String Teachers Association" magazine in 2010.
Special Projects and Unique Violins
In September 2010, Linzi organized a special event in London called Fashion for the Brave. This event helped raise money for charities like Help for Heroes. These charities support soldiers and their families.
Linzi Stoppard and Ben Lee worked with a famous jeweler named Theo Fennell. They created the world's first electric violins that were plated with 24-carat gold. These amazing violins were also decorated with real diamonds, sapphires, and rubies!
