Fusion Fighters
The Fusion Fighters, also known as Xros Heart in Japan, work to bring peace to the Digital World. They protect its people and are led by Mikey Kudo. Later, Nene Amano and Christopher Aonuma join them. In the Dark Generals Arc, they form the Fusion Fighters United Army.
Mikey Kudo
Voiced by: Minami Takayama (Japanese); Nicolas Roye (English)
Mikey Kudo (called Taiki Kudō in Japan) is a cheerful middle school boy. He always helps anyone who needs it. Mikey is great at all sports and has a friendly personality that makes both humans and Digimon like him. He sometimes tries to do too much, though.
Mikey got his red Fusion Loader from Omnimon, a powerful Digimon. He then started the Fusion Fighters with his partner, Shoutmon. Mikey is also a very smart planner. He can figure out his enemies' tricks and stop them. This makes him very important to the team. Unlike others, Mikey can hear Digimon who are in great danger.
During their adventures, they meet many friendly Digimon who join them. They also meet a rival group called Blue Flare. They fight against the evil Bagra Army and Team Midnight. Nene, Sparrowmon, Monimon, and the Monitamons, who were once part of Team Midnight, join Mikey's group after SkullKnightmon leaves Nene behind.
When Bagramon steals all 108 Code Crown pieces, he sends Mikey, Angie, Jeremy, and Shoutmon back to Earth. Mikey learns that time moves much slower on Earth than in the Digital World. He tries to find a way back to save the Digital World. Omnimon, who gave him his Fusion Loader, tells Mikey about the DigiCards and the history of the Digital World. Omnimon explains that he was a DigiCard and was looking for someone who could hear him, which was Mikey.
After Shoutmon becomes OmniShoutmon to fight Tactimon, Mikey returns to the Digital World with Shoutmon. There, Mikey and Shoutmon learn that Bagramon has rebuilt the Digital World into seven kingdoms. Each kingdom is ruled by a Dark General with their own Darkness Loader. Mikey and Nene convince Christopher to join them. They travel through the kingdoms to defeat the Dark Generals and free the Digital World.
After defeating MegaDarknessBagramon, the Digimon members of the Fusion Fighters United Army go back to the Digital World. One year later, Mikey, now in eighth grade, starts a street basketball team called "Xros Heart" with Ewan and Tagiru. When a new place called DigiQuartz appears, Mikey helps solve the mystery of the attacks. He is one of the six Legendary Heroes of the Digimon Multiverse.
