Glee was a popular American TV show. It was a musical comedy-drama series. The show aired on the Fox channel. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan created it.
The very first episode, called the pilot episode, aired on May 19, 2009. The rest of the first season started on September 9, 2009. Fox liked the show so much they ordered more episodes!
Glee is about a high school show choir. This is also known as a glee club. The club is at the fictional William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio. A teacher named Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) takes over the glee club. He wants to make the club great again. The club is full of different kinds of teenagers. Will also has feelings for his co-worker, Emma (Jayma Mays). He also has to protect the glee club from the sneaky cheerleading coach, Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch).
The show mainly focuses on the students in the glee club. It shows their friendships and relationships. It also explores their love for singing. They want to be popular, but being in the glee club sometimes makes that hard. The series shows many ups and downs of being a teenager in high school.
The sixth and final season of Glee started on January 9, 2015. It ended on March 20 of the same year. The show had a total of 121 episodes.
