This is a list of New Zealand Test cricketers. A Test match is a very important international cricket game played between two of the best cricket teams in the world. This list shows all the male players who have played Test cricket for New Zealand. They are listed in the order they first played their Test match, also known as earning their 'Test cap'. If more than one player started in the same game, they are listed in alphabetical order by their last name.

When a player plays their first Test match, they are said to earn their "Test cap". This is a special moment for any cricketer! The list below includes all the players who have earned a Test cap for New Zealand. It shows when they played, how many matches they played, and some of their batting and bowling statistics. This championship is like a big tournament played over two years by the top nine cricket nations. The two best teams at the end of these two years play in a final match to decide who is the World Test Champion!
