The Time Force Rangers are a team of heroes from the future. They are like police officers from the year 3000. Their job is to travel back in time to stop bad guys, especially mutants, from changing history.

Wes Collins, the Red Ranger

Wesley Collins is a main hero in the series. He is the Red Time Force Ranger and helps lead the team. Wes uses his Chrono Sabers and the V1 Vector Weapon. He also pilots Time Flyer 1. Even though Jen is the official leader, Wes often takes charge in battles.

Wes comes from a rich family in Silver Hills. He was chosen to be the Red Ranger because his DNA matched the original Red Ranger, Alex. This helped unlock the team's special morphers. Wes develops feelings for Jen, but things get complicated when Alex, who was thought to be gone, returns.

Later, Wes's father gets hurt by Ransik. Alex says Wes is meant to take over his father's company. Wes does this for a while, but he soon returns to help the Rangers. He gets his morpher back from Alex. Wes and his father finally understand each other, and his dad supports him being a Ranger.

In the end, Wes tells the other Rangers to go back to the future to save themselves. Alex had told him that Wes would die fighting Ransik. But the other Rangers come back to help him. Together, they defeat the bad guys. Wes destroys Doomtron and Frax with the Q-Rex. He is the only one to land a strong hit on Ransik. Ransik then gives up. Wes says goodbye to his friends, and he and Jen share their feelings. Wes stays in the past and becomes a leader of the Silver Guardians, a team that protects the city for free. Eric becomes his partner.

Wes also appears in other Power Rangers seasons. He teams up with Eric and the Wild Force Rangers to fight new monsters. He also joins other Red Rangers in a big battle. Later, he helps a large group of Rangers fight a huge alien army.

At first, Jen is very serious and strict. But as she gets to know her team, she becomes more calm and caring. She eventually falls in love with Wes.

Bad Guys

The bad guys in Power Rangers Time Force are mutant criminals. They traveled back in time with the villain Ransik. These mutants were created by accident in the future. Many people in the future didn't like them. By the end of the series, some of these characters change their ways and help the Rangers.

Ransik

Ransik is the main bad guy. He is a powerful mutant who was created by accident in the year 3000. He can shoot energy, fight well, and move things with his mind. Ransik was bitten by another mutant, Venomark, and needed a special medicine to survive. He could also pull weapons from his skin.

Ransik steals a prison full of frozen mutants and travels back to 2001 to take over. He is stopped by Alex, the original Red Ranger, but escapes with help from his daughter Nadira and his robot Frax. Ransik then fights the Time Force Rangers in Silver Hills. He uses different mutants to attack them, but he never wins. Ransik believes mutants were treated unfairly in the future.

Frax later betrays Ransik and destroys his medicine. Frax reveals he is actually Dr. Ferricks, the scientist Ransik hurt. But Ransik finds more medicine and is permanently cured. He then captures Frax and makes him his slave. Ransik launches a huge attack on the city with his giant robot, Doomtron. Wes destroys Doomtron. Ransik fights the Rangers and accidentally hurts Nadira, who has changed her mind about humans. Seeing Nadira hurt makes Ransik realize his mistakes. He gives up and is the second Power Rangers villain to not be destroyed.

Ransik later returns with the Time Force Rangers and Nadira to help fight new monsters called Mut-Orgs. He shows he feels bad for his past actions. Ransik helps the Rangers by destroying the mutant parts of the Mut-Orgs, which makes him human. Ransik is one of the few Power Rangers villains to truly become good.

Nadira helps Ransik escape from prison. She believes that being rich is the key to controlling the past. Her plans are always stopped by the Time Force Rangers. A funny part of the show is that Gluto, another mutant, has a crush on her, but she always rejects him.

Later, Trip makes Nadira help a pregnant woman deliver her baby. Seeing the newborn baby makes Nadira rethink her hatred for humans. She talks to Frax, who tells her that hate is a bad cycle. Nadira tries to make Ransik stop the fighting. She even protects a baby during an attack. When Ransik accidentally hurts her, she asks him to do the right thing. This helps Ransik realize his mistakes and surrender.

After returning to the future, Nadira works with children. She seems to like Lucas, and they are seen holding hands.

Nadira is played by Kate Sheldon.

Frax

Frax is a robot who works for Ransik. He builds the robot armies that Ransik sends against the Rangers. Frax dislikes Ransik because Ransik thinks robots are not as good as mutants. Frax also gets angry when Ransik destroys his creations.

It is later revealed that Frax is actually Dr. Louis Ferricks. He was a scientist who tried to help Ransik with his illness. But Ransik destroyed his lab and left him for dead. Dr. Ferricks rebuilt himself as a robot and hated Ransik for what he did.

Frax later finds a key to a special prison called the X-Vault. He releases dangerous mutants without Ransik's permission, including Venomark, who bit Ransik. As revenge, Frax destroys all of Ransik's medicine and tells Ransik who he really is. Frax then builds huge robots powered by special crystals.

In the final episodes, Ransik captures Frax and makes him a slave. Frax is reprogrammed to obey Ransik without question. He pilots his giant robot, Doomtron, to cause chaos. Wes destroys Doomtron, which also shuts down Frax.

A funny part of the show is Gluto's crush on Nadira. He always tries to win her over, but she always turns him down.

Cyclobots

The Cyclobots are Ransik's robot foot soldiers. They were first invented by Dr. Ferricks. Ransik stole the plans for them. They are strong and attack in large groups, but the Rangers can usually defeat them easily. They can be hidden as small golden bolts or even disguise themselves as humans. They cannot speak in their robot form. They usually use short swords that can also shoot energy.

Mutants

These are mutant criminals captured by Time Force. They were frozen in a special prison after committing crimes in the future. When Ransik took over the prison, he had an army of these mutants.
