Ashland Covered Bridge

The Ashland Covered Bridge is a beautiful old bridge built around 1860. It is located in Ashland. This bridge is a type called a "covered bridge." Covered bridges have roofs and walls, just like a house. This design helps protect the wooden parts of the bridge from rain and snow. This makes the bridge last much longer. Wilmington Rail Viaduct

The Wilmington Rail Viaduct is a large bridge in Wilmington. It was built for trains. Parts of it were constructed in 1902, 1928, and 1935. This viaduct is a "through girder bridge."
