Wooddale is a small community in New Castle County, Delaware, in the United States. It's called an unincorporated community because it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Instead, it's managed by New Castle County. Wooddale is found along the Red Clay Creek and Rolling Mill Road, just west of the city of Wilmington.
Wooddale's Past
This area was once a busy place in the 1800s. It was home to mills that made paper and worked with iron. These mills were important for the community's economy back then.
