LittleBe (also known as little Be) is a special part of the ITVBe TV channel in the United Kingdom. It's a block of TV shows made just for young children, usually between 2 and 6 years old.

LittleBe started on September 3, 2018. You can watch it on weekdays and weekends from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. It's a great place for little kids to watch fun and educational shows!

How LittleBe Started

The idea for LittleBe was first shared on July 4, 2018, at a big meeting called the Children's Media Conference. At first, it didn't even have a name! Later, it was officially named LittleBe.

This new block of shows is a bit like "Mini CITV," which used to be on the CITV channel. Mini CITV showed programs for very young children. But then, CITV decided to stop showing preschool shows. So, LittleBe was created to fill that gap.

Before LittleBe launched, it was announced that the famous puppet show, Sooty, would move to the new block. Sooty used to be shown on CITV.

Making the Look and Sound

A person named Jason Ford from ITV Creative worked with a company called Bubble. They helped create all the cool visual effects and animations you see in LittleBe's ads and branding.

The music and sound effects for LittleBe were made by Greg Claridge and James Taylor. They helped give the block its unique and fun sound.

LittleBe shows many different programs. Some of these shows were made especially for LittleBe, like Pip Ahoy! and Sooty.
