Sooty is a super fun British TV show for kids that's full of silly, physical comedy. It's the fifth TV series starring the famous yellow bear, Sooty. This show started in 2011 and was the first one after Richard Cadell bought the rights to the Sooty brand in 2008. It aired on CITV for its first two series and then moved to ITVBe for its third series.

What is the Show About?
In this series, Richard starts a new job as a "Mr. Fix-It" at "Slater's Holiday Park," which is a fun place by the British coast. Sooty, Sweep, and Soo are always there to "help" him, which usually leads to lots of funny messes and adventures!

Main Characters
- Richard Cadell – He's the human presenter of the show and Sooty's best friend. He often finds himself in funny situations because of Sooty and the gang.
- Sooty – He's a quiet yellow bear who is the main character. Sooty has a magic wand and makes amazing things happen when he says, "Izzy wizzy, Let's get busy!"
- Sweep – A silly grey dog who loves bones and sausages. He talks using funny squeaky noises that only Richard seems to understand.
- Soo – A calm and smart female panda. She often tries to keep Sooty and Sweep out of trouble. She usually wears a red skirt and sometimes pink wellies! Her voice is done by Brenda Longman.

Pilot Episode (2009)
Before the main series, a special episode called "The Big Day Out" was released in 2009. In this pilot, Richard takes Sooty, Sweep, and Soo to the beach, but as you can guess, nothing goes as planned!
Series 1 (2011)

- The Swimming Lesson: Sweep is scared of water, and Richard tries to teach him to swim.

Will There Be a Sooty Movie?
There are plans for a movie based on the series in the future! The story is about Soo being taken by an evil showbiz boss who wants to make her a huge star. Sooty and Sweep need to get her back! Brenda Longman, who voices Soo, has said that the movie is being planned, but there's no release date yet.
