The Little River is a cool stream in Mendocino County, California. It flows about 5.8 miles (9.3 km) west until it reaches the big Pacific Ocean! You can find its mouth, where it meets the ocean, inside Van Damme State Park near the town of Little River, California. The local Wiyot people have a special name for it: p'lèt kacamale, which means "rocks-small".
