Liv Hewson (born 29 November 1995) is an Australian actor and playwright. They are known for their roles in TV shows and movies. Liv is also known for writing stories that often reimagine fairytales and myths. These stories often have a unique and sometimes dark twist.
They played Abby Hammond in the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet from 2017 to 2019. Since 2021, Liv has been playing Van Palmer in the Showtime series Yellowjackets.

Liv Hewson's Acting Career
In 2014, Liv Hewson traveled to Los Angeles to attend an acting workshop. This helped them learn more about acting. In 2016, they played the main character, Claire Duncan, in the fantasy web series Dramaworld.
In 2017, Liv starred in the movie Before I Fall. They also had recurring roles in the second series of Top of the Lake. A recurring role means they appeared in several episodes. They also appeared in the miniseries Inhumans that same year.

Growing up, their family watched many American TV shows. These included The Simpsons and Futurama. Liv said this made it easy for them to act with an American accent.
In 2011, when Liv was 16, they shared that they are non-binary. This means they do not identify as only a boy or only a girl. Liv uses they/them pronouns. This means people refer to Liv as "they" instead of "he" or "she." In 2020, Liv received an award for their work supporting LGBT+ people. This award was from the Human Rights Campaign.
