Ljusdals BK (LBK) is a Swedish bandy club. Bandy is a cool winter sport played on ice, a bit like ice hockey but with a ball instead of a puck! LBK plays in Elitserien, which is the top league for bandy in Sweden.

The club started on January 19, 1943. LBK plays its home games at Gamla Idrottsparken (also known as IP) in Ljusdal, a town in Hälsingland, Sweden. A big moment for the club was in 1975 when they won the Swedish national championship! LBK also has a dedicated group of fans called "Ljusdal Lightnings".

Recent Seasons and League Play

Climbing Back to the Top League

Ljusdals BK worked hard to get back into Elitserien. They made it in 2012. This happened after they spent five seasons playing in Allsvenskan.

Moving Between Leagues

Before 2012, LBK had been in Elitserien. However, they moved down to Allsvenskan in the 2006/07 season. This happened after a tough game against Tillberga on February 14. It shows how teams can move between different leagues in sports.
