Logrosán is a town in the province of Cáceres in Extremadura, Spain. It's known for its history and natural beauty. In the past, Logrosán was a busy place. During the 19th and 20th centuries, over 8,000 people lived here. This was because of its big role in the mining industry. Today, the town is managed by its local council.

Exploring Logrosán's Geography
Logrosán is in the south of the Cáceres province. It sits at the base of Las Villuercas, a part of the Montes de Toledo mountain range. The town is built on a large granite rock formation. This formation is called "Cerro de San Cristóbal." It came to the surface a very long time ago.
You can also see other rock formations here. These are made of quartzites and slates. They sometimes stick out of the ground. This creates a landscape that looks a bit like the Appalachian Mountains. The "Greenway of Las Vegas del Guadiana" also ends in this area. It is a path for walking or cycling.

In the 1970s, this park became the main public park for the town. Today, it has sports fields, swimming pools, and a playground for kids. There is also a house of culture.
