London Tyus Perrantes Jr. (born October 3, 1994) is an American professional basketball player. He plays as a point guard for Kolossos Rodou in the Greek Basketball League. Before becoming a professional, he played college basketball for the Virginia Cavaliers.

High School Basketball
London Perrantes went to Crespi Carmelite High School. His coach there was Russell White. London became known for his calm and steady playing style. He developed this style by playing against older, more experienced players.
A football player named Nico Grasu noticed London's talent. He told the basketball coach, Tony Bennett, about London. When Coach Bennett moved to Virginia, London decided to play for him. He turned down an offer from USC.
In his final year of high school, London was a star. He scored about 19.9 points and made 5.8 assists per game. He was named the L.A. Daily News Player of the Year. ESPN also ranked him among the top 100 recruits for 2013.
College Basketball Journey
Freshman Year at Virginia
As a freshman, London helped his team reach the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16. This was the first time in 19 years for Virginia! He started 33 games and was very good at shooting from long range. He averaged 5.5 points and 3.8 assists per game.
Sophomore Season Highlights
London scored a career-high 26 points against Miami in January 2015. Later, he broke his nose and had a mild concussion during a game. Despite this, he averaged 6.4 points and 4.6 assists per game. He helped the Cavaliers win 30 games and secure their second straight Atlantic Coast Conference title.
Junior Year Leadership
As a junior, London became a key leader for his team. He was the player who helped motivate everyone when they were struggling. In a game against Virginia Tech, he made seven three-pointers and scored 22 points.
He averaged 11.0 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game. He was also very accurate, shooting almost 49% from three-point range. Coach Bennett said London "made everything kind of work out."
Senior Year Achievements
In his senior year, London was named to the Second Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference. His college career ended with a game against Florida in the NCAA Tournament. London averaged 12.7 points and 3.8 assists per game that season. He played 138 games for Virginia, which tied a school record. He scored a total of 1,225 points during his time there.
Becoming a Pro Player
After college, London Perrantes was not chosen in the 2017 NBA draft. However, he still got a chance to play professionally.
Early NBA Career
He first signed a summer league deal with the Miami Heat. Then, he signed with the San Antonio Spurs, but was later released. In October 2017, London signed a special "two-way contract" with the Cleveland Cavaliers. This meant he could play for both the Cavaliers and their minor league team, the Canton Charge.
London made his NBA debut on December 12, 2017, playing for the Cavaliers. The Cavaliers made it to the 2018 NBA Finals that season, but they lost to the Golden State Warriors. London was released by the Cavaliers in June 2018.
Playing in Europe
After his time with the Cavaliers, London moved to France. He signed with a team called Limoges in July 2018. He later joined another French team, Cholet Basket, in November 2018.
In 2019, London played for the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA Summer League. He also joined the Portland Trail Blazers for training camp but was later released.
Later in 2019, London went to Turkey to play for Bahçeşehir Basketbol.
Return to the G League
In January 2020, London joined the Capital City Go-Go, another team in the NBA G League. In December 2020, he briefly signed with the San Antonio Spurs again before joining their G League team, the Austin Spurs.
Recent Professional Teams
In August 2021, London signed with Hapoel Gilboa Galil in Israel. He played there for two seasons. During the 2022–2023 season, he averaged 11.8 points and 6.6 assists per game.
Since August 2023, London Perrantes has been playing for Kolossos Rodou in Greece.
