Exploring Long Island
Long Island is mostly wild and natural. Today, only one community, Gaultois, is still active on the island. It's found in a small bay on the eastern side. You can reach Gaultois by taking a passenger ferry that runs several times a day.
Past Communities
Even though only Gaultois remains, Long Island used to have other small towns. Along its coast, you can find places where people once lived but have since moved away. These include communities like Piccaire and Little Bay. These abandoned spots tell stories of the island's history.
