Looped is a fun Canadian animated TV show made by Neptoon Studios and DHX Media. It first aired in Canada on Teletoon on March 2, 2016. Later, it became available on Amazon Prime Video in the United States. The show also premiered in Latin America on Cartoon Network and in the United Kingdom on CITV in early 2016.
The series was created by Todd Kauffman and Mark Thornton. They also worked on other popular shows like Grojband and Total Drama. Todd Kauffman also helped create Sidekick for YTV.

Story of the Show
The show is about two best friends, Luc and Theo, who live in a town called Port Doover. They go to Port Doover Elementary School. One day, something amazing and weird happens! Theo creates an invention in his garage, and because of an accident, the two boys get stuck in a time loop. This means every single day is the same: Monday, October 12th.
Since they know exactly what will happen each day, Luc and Theo use this knowledge to do whatever they want. They often cause funny problems and unusual events in their town and at school. It's like having a cheat code for life, but it also leads to lots of crazy adventures!
Meet the Characters
Main Characters
- Lucas "Luc" Maxwell: He's Theo's best friend. Luc is pretty lazy and doesn't always think things through. He loves using the time loop to cause endless mischief and doesn't worry about what might happen.
- Theodore "Theo" Merton Jr.: Theo is Luc's best friend. He's smart and responsible, often trying to keep Luc out of trouble. Theo knows a lot about how the time loop works. In one episode, he mentions that they've been stuck in the loop for at least four years!
Classmates
- Jesse: Jesse is the school bully. He's a bit short-tempered and likes to pick on other kids. But he also loves nature and animals, and he's a proud vegetarian!
- Gwyneth "Gwyn" Sanders: Gwyn is a girl with pink hair and glasses. She really likes Luc but can't stand Theo and often forgets his name. Even though Luc isn't interested in her, Theo has a big crush on Gwyn.
- Sarah Doover: Sarah is a very popular girl. She never speaks out loud and only communicates by texting on her cellphone. In the final episode, she finally speaks, revealing she was saving her voice for a talent show.
- Kelly and Kelli: These are identical twin sisters who are Sarah's followers. They help Sarah by telling others what she wants or how she feels.
- Kyle Bush: Kyle is a very handsome, kind, and popular boy at school. He seems perfect in every way. Luc gets annoyed by how perfect Kyle is and always tries to be better than him.
- Lester: Lester is a nerdy kid who loves video games and LARP (Live Action Role-Playing). Jesse often stuffs him into his locker, but Lester doesn't mind because he spends the whole day playing video games in there.
- Amy: Amy is a Goth girl who likes to hide in the school basement.
Adults in Port Doover
- Principal Applecrab: He's the principal of Port Doover Elementary School. Luc and Theo often trick him into doing funny or embarrassing things at school assemblies.
- Coach Lessard: He's Luc and Theo's gym teacher. He uses a golf cart to get around. In one episode, we find out his left arm is bionic!
- Mr. LemonJello: This is Luc and Theo's science teacher. He's known for being a bit boring and not showing much emotion.
- Theo Merton Sr.: He is Theo's father. He used to be a badminton champion and now runs a sports store.
- Claire: Claire is Luc's babysitter. She's a teenager who is a bit self-centered and not very good at her job. Since Luc's parents are on a three-day trip, and the loop started on the second day, Claire is basically Luc's guardian.
