Loren Gerard Woods (born June 21, 1978) is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a center and spent six seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Early Life and College Basketball
Loren Woods was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He went to Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School. After high school, he started his college basketball journey at Wake Forest University. Later, he transferred to the University of Arizona to continue his college career.
Playing in the NBA
In 2001, Loren Woods was chosen by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA draft. After playing for the Timberwolves, he joined the Miami Heat. He also played for the Toronto Raptors. During the 2004–05 season with the Raptors, he played in 45 games. He achieved his best scoring average that season, with 3.9 points per game.
Woods later signed with the Sacramento Kings in 2006, but he was waived before the season started. His last time playing in the NBA was with the Houston Rockets in 2008. He played one minute in his final NBA game, scoring 2 points and getting 1 rebound.
International Basketball Journey
After his time in the NBA, Loren Woods played for many teams around the world. In 2007, he joined Žalgiris Kaunas, a famous team in Lithuania. He also played for Efes Pilsen in Turkey.
In 2009, Woods moved to Spain to play for CAI Zaragoza. He then played for teams in Lebanon, like Al Riyadi Beirut, and in Iran, such as Mahram Tehran and Zob Ahan Isfahan. He played for Al Riyadi Beirut multiple times. His international career continued until 2018, playing for teams like Al Hala and Al Ahli.
Playing for Lebanon
In July 2013, Loren Woods became a citizen of Lebanon. This allowed him to join the Lebanese national basketball team. He played for Lebanon in international competitions. He was called to play in the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship.
Beyond Basketball: Acting
After his basketball career, Loren Woods tried acting. He appeared in the 2022 holiday musical movie Spirited. In the movie, he played the role of The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come.
