Loughborough Lake is a beautiful lake located in Eastern Ontario, Canada. Most of the lake is found in the area known as South Frontenac, which is part of Frontenac County. A small part of its southern tip touches the northern edge of the city of Kingston. The lake is about 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of Kingston's main town center.
This lake is an important part of the larger Great Lakes Basin. It stretches about 24 kilometers (15 miles) long and covers an area of 18.90 square kilometers (7.30 sq mi). Loughborough Lake is known for its many small islands and its long shoreline, which measures about 119 kilometers (74 miles).
