Louis Emerick Grant (born 10 June 1960) is a British actor. He is well-known for playing Mick Johnson in the TV show Brookside. He has also appeared in the popular BBC show Doctors.

Louis Emerick was born on 10 June 1960. He grew up in Toxteth, a part of Liverpool, England. His father was from Liberia, and his mother was British. Louis is the youngest of ten children in his family.

Early Acting Career

Louis Emerick started his acting journey in 1982. He became famous for his role as Mick Johnson in the TV soap opera Brookside. He played this character for many years.

He also appeared in Last of the Summer Wine as PC Walsh. He was in 55 episodes of this show. Louis has acted in other well-known TV series too. These include New Tricks, The Bill, and Benidorm.

Later Roles and Appearances

Louis Emerick continued to act in many different shows. He was in Waterloo Road and Cold Feet. He also had roles in Coronation Street. In films, he appeared in Layer Cake.
