Louis Murphy was born in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1987. His family background includes both Samoan and African-American heritage. When he was a teenager, he became an Eagle Scout. This is the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America.
Louis went to Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg. He was a star athlete there. He played quarterback and wide receiver for the school's football team. He also played power forward in basketball. On the track team, he was a fast runner. He helped his team win state championships in relay races.
College Football Journey
