Lourdes Mohedano Sanchez de Mora (born on June 17, 1995, in Córdoba, Spain) is a talented Spanish group rhythmic gymnast. She is known for her amazing performances and for winning medals for her country.

Her Amazing Gymnastics Journey

Lourdes Mohedano represented Spain in many big international gymnastics events. She was part of the Spanish rhythmic gymnastics group that competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Her team finished in 4th place, showing great skill.

Her biggest achievement came at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. There, Lourdes and her teammates, Elena López, Artemi Gavezou, Sandra Aguilar, and Alejandra Quereda, won a fantastic silver medal in the group all-around event. This made them the second-best rhythmic gymnastics group in the world at those Olympic Games!

Lourdes also achieved success at the World Championships. She won a bronze medal in the all-around event at the 2015 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. Before that, she earned gold medals in the 10 Clubs event at both the 2014 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Izmir and the 2013 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Kyiv. She also secured a bronze medal in the 3 Balls/2 Ribbons event in Kyiv in 2013.

At the European Championships, Lourdes continued to shine. In 2016, she won a silver medal in the 6 Clubs/2 Hoops event and a bronze medal in the 5 Ribbons event at the European Championships in Holon. She also earned a bronze medal in the 10 clubs event at the 2014 Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships in Baku.
