Lubeck is a small community in Wood County, West Virginia, United States. It's known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area defined for gathering census information, but it's not an official city or town. Lubeck is part of a larger area called the Parkersburg-Marietta-Vienna Metropolitan Statistical Area.

In 2010, about 1,311 people lived in Lubeck. The community was first called Watertown. But in 1856, the local postmaster, Theodore Frederick Henry Slevogt, changed the name. He named it Lubeck after his hometown in Germany.
