Early Life and School
Luca Gallone grew up in Burton-on-Trent, a town in Staffordshire, England. He was born there on March 14, 1996. When he was in school at Abbot Beyne School, he started performing magic at weddings and other private events. He even did this for two years while he was still studying. Later, he decided to leave the University of Derby to focus completely on becoming a professional magician.
Starting His Magic Career
When Luca was 18, he officially started his own magic business. He got some help from an organization called The Princes Trust, which supports young people in starting their own companies. Just one year later, in 2016, Luca was invited to appear on a popular TV show called Britain's Got Talent. All four judges on the show were very impressed by his magic!
After his success on Britain's Got Talent, Luca started making short magic videos to share online in 2018. These videos quickly became very popular, and he now has more than 10 million followers across different social media platforms. He has performed his magic in many countries and even for important events, like Prince Charles' 70th Birthday party at The London Palladium in London.
Appearing on TV Shows
In 2019, a big company called United Talent Agency signed Luca. This company helps artists and performers with their careers. Later that year, one of Luca's viral online videos was shown on an American TV show called Right This Minute. Because of this, he was invited to perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. On the show, he performed some of his cool magic tricks for the host, Ellen DeGeneres, and someone from the audience.
The Daily Mirror, a newspaper, also wrote an article about Luca. It featured him performing a viral magic trick that was part of a marriage proposal.
