Lucerne is a small community in Hot Springs County, Wyoming, in the United States. It's called a census-designated place (CDP), which means it's a special area that the government counts for population. However, it is not an official city or town with its own local government. In 2020, about 548 people lived there.

Lucerne is located in Wyoming. You can find it along U.S. Route 20. This road connects the towns of Thermopolis and Worland.
The community covers an area of about 20.6 square miles (53.3 square kilometers). Most of this area is land. A small part, about 0.7 square miles (1.7 square kilometers), is water.
Lucerne's Climate
The weather in Lucerne is measured at a nearby station called Thermopolis 9NE. This area experiences a wide range of temperatures throughout the year.
In winter, from December to February, it can get very cold. Temperatures often drop below freezing. Summers, from June to August, are usually warm and sunny. July is often the hottest month.
The area gets some rain and snow. Spring (April and May) and fall (September and October) usually see more precipitation. Snowfall is common in the colder months.
