Luke Cunningham Wilson (born September 21, 1971) is an American actor. He is known for his many roles in movies and TV shows. Some of his famous films include Bottle Rocket (1996), Legally Blonde (2001), Old School (2003), and Idiocracy (2006).
On television, he played Casey Kelso in That '70s Show (2002–2005). He also starred as Levi Callow in Enlightened (2011–2013). More recently, he played Pat Dugan / S.T.R.I.P.E. in the superhero series Stargirl (2020–2022). Luke is the youngest brother of actors Andrew Wilson and Owen Wilson.

Early Life and Education
Luke Wilson was born in Dallas, Texas. He is the youngest of three sons. His father, Robert Andrew Wilson, was an advertising and television executive. His mother, Laura Wilson, is a photographer.
The Wilson family originally came from Massachusetts. They have an Irish Catholic background. All three Wilson brothers went to St. Mark's School of Texas. Luke was even voted class president during his first year there. He became interested in acting while studying at Occidental College in Los Angeles.
Acting Career Highlights
Wilson's acting journey began with a short film called Bottle Rocket in 1994. His older brother Owen and director Wes Anderson helped write it. This short film was later made into a full movie in 1996.
After moving to Hollywood, Luke acted with Calista Flockhart in Telling Lies in America (1997). He also had a small part in Scream 2 (1997). In 1998, he starred in two romantic films with Drew Barrymore: Best Men and Home Fries. He also worked with Wes Anderson again in Rushmore (1998).
In 1999, Luke played Detective Carlson in Blue Streak. The year 2000 was busy for him. He appeared in My Dog Skip with Frankie Muniz. He also joined Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu in Charlie's Angels.
A big role came in 2001 when he starred with Reese Witherspoon in the comedy Legally Blonde. He then appeared in The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) and Old School (2003). He also returned for Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003) and Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde (2003). From 2002 to 2005, he had a recurring role as Casey Kelso on That '70s Show.
In 2006, Wilson starred in My Super Ex-Girlfriend with Uma Thurman. He also played the main character in Idiocracy, a comedy directed by Mike Judge. In this movie, he played an ordinary serviceman who wakes up hundreds of years later in a much less intelligent America.
Luke continued to act in many films, including the thriller Vacancy (2007) and 3:10 to Yuma (2007). From 2011 to 2013, he starred in the HBO TV series Enlightened. He also appeared in The Skeleton Twins (2014) and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019).
Since 2020, Luke Wilson has been a main star in the DC Universe and The CW series Stargirl. He plays Pat Dugan / S.T.R.I.P.E., a mechanic who becomes a superhero sidekick. In 2023, he lent his voice to the animated series Fired on Mars as Jeffrey Cooper.
Luke and his brother Owen have also written a movie script about the Wright brothers. They plan to star in it together.
Personal Life
Luke Wilson was previously in a relationship with his Home Fries co-star Drew Barrymore. In a 2019 interview, he mentioned that he was ready to start a family.
