Lunamatrona is a small town in Italy. It is located on the island of Sardinia, which is a region of Italy. Lunamatrona is part of the Province of South Sardinia.
This town is about 50 kilometers (31 miles) northwest of Cagliari. Cagliari is a big city in Sardinia. Lunamatrona is also about 9 kilometers (5.6 miles) north of Sanluri. The town sits in a flat area called the Marmilla plain.
Lunamatrona shares its borders with several other towns. These include Collinas, Pauli Arbarei, Sanluri, Siddi, Villamar, and Villanovaforru.
