Lunda is a small place in Ohio, United States. It is known as an "unincorporated community." This means it does not have its own local government like a city or town.
Lunda is located in Liberty Township, within Union County. You can find it where Lunda Road (which is Union County Highway 252) meets Perkins Road (Union County Highway 248). It is about three miles southeast of the town of West Mansfield.
History of the Post Office
Lunda once had its very own post office. This post office opened its doors on August 18, 1896. It helped people send and receive mail in the area.
However, the Lunda Post Office did not stay open for very long. It was closed down on February 14, 1906. Today, people in Lunda get their mail service through the post office branch in nearby West Mansfield.
