Early Life and Art Studies
Lía Bermúdez began her journey into art at a young age. She started her studies at the School of Applied Arts in Caracas. This was between 1944 and 1946. Later, she moved to Maracaibo, a city in Venezuela. In Maracaibo, she continued her art education. She studied at the Escuela de Bellas Artes starting in 1947. There, she learned from famous teachers. Her masters included Francisco Narváez and Julio Maragall.
