Måneskin (Error: {{language with name/for}}: missing language tag or language name (help)) is a popular rock band from Rome, Italy. They started playing music together in 2016. The band has four members: Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi, and Ethan Torchio.
At first, Måneskin played music on the streets. They became famous in Italy after coming in second on the TV show X Factor in 2017. Later, they became known all over the world. This happened when they won the Sanremo Music Festival 2021 and the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. They represented Italy at Eurovision with their song "Zitti e buoni".
Måneskin has released two studio albums: Il ballo della vita (in 2018) and Teatro d'ira: Vol. I (in 2021). They have also released many popular songs. Their music has been at the top of music charts in Italy and other parts of Europe. They have sold over a million records in Italy.
In 2021, Måneskin made history. They were the first Italian band to reach the top 10 on the UK Singles Chart. Their songs "Zitti e buoni" and "I Wanna Be Your Slave" also reached the top 10 on the Billboard Global 200 Excl. U.S. chart. This shows how popular their music became around the world.
