Damiano David is an Italian singer and songwriter. He was born on January 8, 1999. He is best known as the lead singer of the rock band Måneskin.
Måneskin won the Sanremo Music Festival 2021. They then represented Italy and won the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Their winning song was "Zitti e buoni". In 2024, Damiano David started his own solo music career. He released singles like "Silverlines" and "Born with a Broken Heart". His first solo album, Funny Little Fears, came out in 2025. He also went on his first solo concert tour in 2025.

Early Life
Damiano David was born in Rome, Italy. His parents, Daniele David and Rossella Scognamiglio, were both flight attendants. Because of their jobs, Damiano and his older brother Jacopo traveled a lot. They saw many different cultures from a young age.
Before he was 17, Damiano was a talented basketball player. He played as a point guard for a local club called Eurobasket Roma. He says that playing basketball taught him important discipline. This discipline helped him succeed later in life.
Music Career
Damiano started singing when he was six years old. He met Victoria De Angelis and Thomas Raggi in high school. They later formed the band Måneskin together. Damiano studied at a language high school in Rome. However, he left school early to focus on his music. His parents supported his decision.
