Marco Cardenas (born June 29, 1977), who is famous by his stage name MC Magic, is a Mexican-American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is known for performing songs in both English and Spanish. He also started his own record label, Nastyboy Records, in 1990. He is the founder of the hip hop group NB Ridaz.

Early Life and Music Beginnings
MC Magic was born Marco Cardenas in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. When he was five years old, his family moved to the United States. He grew up in Avondale, Arizona.
At age 13, a friend taught him how to use a drum machine, which is a tool for making beats. This sparked his interest in music, and he started working as a DJ. He graduated from Agua Fria High School in 1995.
Solo Music Career
After being part of the group Nastyboy Klick, MC Magic began to focus on his own music. His solo albums became very popular and helped him become a well-known artist.
Magic City
In 2006, MC Magic released his second solo album, Magic City. The album was a big success. It reached the number one spot on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. This chart tracks popular albums from new and developing artists.
Magic City Part II
The success of Magic City allowed MC Magic to work with many other artists. In 2008, he released his next album, Magic City Part II. This album featured guest artists like Baby Bash, Too Short, and DJ Kane.
Magic City Part II also did well on the music charts. It included hit songs like "Princesa" and "Girl I Love You." As his fame grew, MC Magic began to tour all over the United States, performing for his fans.
The Rewire
MC Magic continued to create new music. He released the album The Rewire in 2011. To promote the album, he used large billboards and ads on bus benches in Phoenix and Los Angeles. The album included the popular song "Diggin," which featured rappers Twista and Snow Tha Product. He also released his first all-Spanish rap song, "Todos Mis Diaz," to connect with his Spanish-speaking fans.
Other Work and Collaborations
MC Magic has worked with many other musicians. In 2011, he collaborated with the artist Serio on two songs. He has also worked with Mexican rapper C-Kan on popular singles like "Quiero Que Sepas" and "Loco."
Besides music, MC Magic has given back to his community. He has visited elementary schools in Phoenix to talk to students. He also worked as a morning DJ on a radio station in Phoenix.
