Dedrick D'Mon Rolison (born August 9, 1971), known by his stage name Mack 10, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He is also a record executive. He was part of the hip hop supergroup Westside Connection with WC and Ice Cube. Mack 10 has sold nearly 11 million records from his solo work and group projects. His stage name comes from the Ingram MAC-10, a type of powerful firearm. As a record executive, Mack 10 started his own company, Hoo-Bangin' Records.

Early Life and Beginnings
Mack 10 was born and grew up in Inglewood, California. He went to Inglewood High School.
He first appeared on Ice Cube's Bootlegs & B-Sides album. This was on the song "What Can I Do? (Remix)."
Music Career Highlights
First Albums and Success
Mack 10 released his first album, Mack 10, in 1995. It was released by Priority Records. This album quickly became very popular and was certified Gold. This means it sold over 500,000 copies. The album featured a hit song called "Foe Life." This song reached number 33 on the Billboard 200 chart.
His next album, Based On A True Story, came out in 1997. It also sold very well and earned a Gold certification.
In 1998, Mack 10 released his third studio album, The Recipe. This album was also a success. It debuted at number 15 on the Billboard 200 chart and later went Gold.
Group Projects and Record Label
In 1996, Rolison joined WC and Ice Cube to form the group Westside Connection. They released music together.
Mack 10 also started his own music company, Mack One-O. This company signed other music acts like Allfrumtha I and The Comrads. He also signed Glasses Malone to his Hoo-Bangin Records label.
His most recent album, Soft White, was released in 2009. It featured the song "Big Balla" with Birdman and Glasses Malone.
Personal Life
Dedrick Rolison married Tionne Watkins, also known as "T-Boz," in August 2000. Tionne Watkins is a member of the famous R&B group TLC. In October 2000, they had a daughter named Chase Anela Rolison. They separated in 2004.
