Charles Phillip Ivory Penniman (born December 10, 1978), known as Glasses Malone, is an American rapper. He is from Los Angeles, California.

Early Life and Beginnings
Glasses Malone grew up in the Watts and Compton areas of Los Angeles County. As a teenager, he changed his path and became interested in street racing.
Glasses Malone's Music Career
Glasses Malone began his career by releasing mixtapes. These are collections of songs often shared for free. His early mixtapes included The Crack Mixtape in 2003. He also released White Lightnin... Sticks in 2005. This mixtape sold 50,000 copies. It featured a popular song called "Two Hunned."
Record Label Deals
Malone was first linked with The Black Wall Street Records. Later, he signed a big deal with Cash Money Records in 2011. He chose Cash Money over offers from many other major labels. These included Def Jam Records and Interscope Records. When he signed, he also got his own music label. It was called Blu Division.
Music Videos and Soundtracks
Glasses Malone has appeared in several music videos. He was in Tha Dogg Pound's video for "Cali Iz Active." He also made a cameo in Tech N9ne's video for "Like Yeah." His song "Right Now" was featured on the soundtrack for Madden 2007. This song was produced by Scott Storch. In August 2006, he was featured on MTV's show You Hear It First.
Album Releases and Collaborations
Malone's first official album was Beach Cruiser. It was first planned for release in 2007. However, due to new record deals, it came out later. The album was finally released on August 29, 2011. It included popular songs like "Certified" with Akon. Another song was "Haterz" featuring Birdman and Lil Wayne.
In late 2009, Malone joined Tech N9ne on the K.O.D. Tour. He also worked with R&B singer TQ on his album Kind of Blue in 2010. Glasses Malone also appeared on a version of Twiztid's 2012 album Abominationz.
Starting His Own Label
In 2014, Glasses Malone started his own record label. He named it Division Movie Company. He also teamed up with DJ Skee and Dash Radio. Together, they developed radio content for his own station.
In 2017, Glasses Malone was invited to a special event. He participated in the Juggalo March On Washington.
