Jermaine Anthony Preyan (born January 15, 1982), known as Mack Maine, is an American music executive, songwriter, and rapper. He grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mack Maine became the president of Lil Wayne's music company, Young Money Entertainment, in 2009. He and Lil Wayne have been friends since they were kids.
Mack Maine has helped write many popular songs for Lil Wayne. These include "How to Love" and "Got Money". He also helped write songs for other artists, like "Dreams and Nightmares" by Meek Mill. As a rapper, Mack Maine performed on the hit song "Every Girl" in 2009. He also appeared on "Tapout" in 2013. Both songs were very popular on the Billboard charts. He has released compilation albums with Young Money and Rich Gang. In 2008, he started his own music company called Soothe Your Soul Records.

Jermaine Anthony Preyan was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He became good friends with famous rapper Lil Wayne when they were both eleven years old. They even went to school together at Eleanor McMain Secondary School. Another rapper, Curren$y, and Cortez Bryant also attended the same school with them.
Music Career Highlights
Mack Maine started his music journey in 2003. He placed 16th out of a thousand people in a freestyle rap battle held by MTV. This helped him become a founding member of Young Money Entertainment with Lil Wayne in 2005.
In 2008, Mack Maine was featured on a remix of Lil Wayne's song "Got Money." He even performed the song with Lil Wayne on the TV show Saturday Night Live. That same year, he won an award called "Patiently Waiting: Louisiana" at the Ozone Awards.
In 2009, Mack Maine went on tour with Lil Wayne, performing his own songs every night. He also released a mixtape called This Is Just a Mixtape. This mixtape featured other artists like Mistah Fab and Rick Ross. He was also part of the Young Money album that included the hit song "Every Girl." Mack Maine also appeared in Lil Wayne's Behind the Music TV episode.
In 2010, Mack Maine worked with Snoop Dogg on a song by T-Pain. He also lent his voice to a character in an animated TV special. In 2013, he released a music video for his song "Celebrate," which featured Lil Wayne and Talib Kweli. As of 2020, Mack Maine has helped produce Lil Wayne's music and helps book his show on Apple Music, called Young Money Radio.
