Madeleine Fischer (born November 12, 1935 – died April 8, 2020) was a talented actress from Switzerland. She became famous for her work in Italian movies.

Biography
Madeleine Fischer grew up in Romanshorn, Switzerland. Her dad was a factory owner, and her mom was a teacher. In the early 1950s, her parents divorced. Madeleine then moved to Rome, Italy, with her mother.
Madeleine started acting when she was 18 years old in 1953. Her first big role was Rosetta Savoni in the movie Le Amiche. This film was directed by Michelangelo Antonioni. She acted in many other Italian movies. Even though she was good at it, acting was not her main passion.
In 1958, Madeleine decided to stop acting. She married a local nobleman. After acting, she worked as a photographer and a businesswoman. In the 1960s, she opened her own fashion stores. These stores were called Piper Market and Piperino. She started to grow her businesses. She traveled to big cities like Milan and New York City with her husband.
Madeleine left the fashion world in the 1970s. She settled down in Umbria, a region in Italy. She became interested in many artistic hobbies. For example, she enjoyed fixing and restoring old objects. In the 2000s, she wrote several books. However, these books were never published. In 2004, Madeleine directed a unique show. It was called Uròboro. This show was a modern version of the classic story Little Red Riding Hood. It was presented as a comic opera.
Madeleine Fischer passed away on April 8, 2020. She was 84 years old. She died in Gubbio, Italy.
