Chef Career

Madison Cowan worked at famous restaurants early in his career. He was a chef at Tavern on the Green in New York City. He also worked as an executive chef at Ashbells in London.

Cowan was a co-owner of Avenue Inc. This company was a supper club and catering business in New York City. From 2013 to 2014, Cowan was a consulting chef for the restaurant Slide.

In 2018, he joined Michelle Obama's "Chefs Move to Schools" project. This program helped chefs work with schools to teach kids about healthy eating.

In 2010, Madison Cowan won the first "Grand Champion" title on the cooking show Chopped. This win came with a $50,000 prize.
