Madlena Zepter's Early Life and Education
Madlena Zepter was born in Belgrade, a city in what was then called FPR Yugoslavia. She went to the University of Belgrade, where she studied literature. Literature is the study of books, poems, and stories.
Supporting the Arts and Culture
Madlena Zepter loves to help the arts. In 1997, she started the Madlenianum Opera and Theatre. This is a special place where people can watch operas and plays. She was the only person who funded it at first. The theatre officially opened its doors in 2005.
She also created the Zepter Museum in Belgrade. Museums are places where important art and historical items are kept and shown to the public.

These women include Lou Salomé, Colette, Marguerite Yourcenar, Coco Chanel, and Peggy Guggenheim.
