Maegan Chant Jackson (born on April 19, 1997) is a Canadian former artistic gymnast. She was a key part of the Canadian team at the World Championships in 2013 and 2014. Maegan also competed at the 2015 Pan American Games. Later, she joined the Florida Gators women's gymnastics team for college.

Gymnastics Journey

Maegan Chant had an exciting career in gymnastics, competing in many important events. She won several medals and represented Canada on the world stage.

Starting as a Senior Gymnast (2013)

In 2013, Maegan began competing as a senior gymnast. At the Canadian Gymnastics Championships, she won a bronze medal in the all-around competition. She also earned a gold medal on the vault. These wins helped her join the Canadian team for the 2013 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. That year, she also won a silver medal on vault at the Vendespace World Cup. At the Cottbus Challenge Cup, she took home a gold medal in floor exercise and a bronze on vault.

Team and Individual Success (2014)

The year 2014 was another strong one for Maegan. At the Canadian Gymnastics Championships, she won silver medals on both vault and floor exercise. She was part of the Canadian team that won a silver medal at the 2014 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships. Maegan also earned a bronze medal in the individual vault competition at that event. She continued to represent Canada at the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

Pan American Games Medal (2015)

In 2015, Maegan continued her success. She won a silver medal on floor exercise at the Canadian Gymnastics Championships. She was also a member of the Canadian team that won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games. This was a big achievement for the team.

Olympic Hopes (2016)

Maegan competed at the Canadian Gymnastics Championships in 2016, finishing eighth. She was then invited to the Canadian Olympic National Selection camp. Although she performed well, she was not chosen for the Olympic team that year.

Life After Gymnastics

Maegan Chant retired from gymnastics on March 11, 2020. On June 23, 2023, she married Ryan Jackson.
